Export Manager

For our client, a dairy company, we are seeking qualified candidates for the position of Export Manager.

Job Summary:

The Export Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing the export operations of the dairy business. This includes developing and implementing export strategies, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, and building strong relationships with international clients and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Export Strategies: Formulate and implement effective export strategies to expand the company’s market presence globally
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and understand market trends in the dairy industry
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with international clients, distributors, and partners
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, including customs, tariffs, and export documentation
  • Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products
  • Sales and Revenue Growth: Drive sales growth and achieve revenue targets by identifying and capitalizing on new market opportunities
  • Budget Management: Manage the export budget and ensure cost-effective operations
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on export activities, market conditions, and performance metrics

Qualifications:

  • Education :Bachelor’s degree in Economics or a related field - Business Administration, International Trade. A Master’s degree is a plus
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in export management, preferably in the dairy or food industry
  • Very good communicative English - daily communication with clients and suppliers
  • Skills:
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships

    - Excellent communication and negotiation skills

    - Strong understanding of international trade regulations and export documentation

    - Proficiency in market research and analysis

    - Strong organizational and project management skills

    - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and export management software
