Head of Product - Merchant Solutions

Your Role:

As Head of Product for Merchant Solutions, you will take charge of defining and executing our merchant-focused product strategy. Leading a team of four Product Managers and working closely with your technical counterpart, you will oversee a cross-functional team of around 30 talented individuals. Your leadership will be key in aligning product development with business goals and ensuring that our solutions deliver value to merchants. This role is being hired as temporary cover for maternity leave.

What will you do:

• Drive product strategy, define and communicate a clear vision for merchant-focused products, ensuring alignment with Heureka’s strategic goals.
• Identify new opportunities and develop innovative solutions that enhance merchant success in the e-commerce space.
• Make data-driven decisions by using analytics and user feedback to guide strategic decisions and prioritize product improvements.
• Work closely with designers, engineers, marketing managers, researchers, and other key stakeholders to ensure seamless product and technology integration.
• Monitor industry trends and competitor offerings to keep our merchant solutions competitive and forward-thinking.
• Develop, mentor, and empower your team of Product Managers, fostering an environment of continuous learning and growth.
• Translate strategy into actionable plans, setting measurable objectives and ensuring timely delivery of key product initiatives.
• Work alongside the CPO, CTO, and other department heads to align product initiatives with company-wide goals.

What do we expect from you:

• 5+ years in product management, preferably in e-commerce or marketplace environments.
• Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams in a fast-changing environment.
• Ability to balance big-picture goals with the execution of detailed, tactical plans.
• Strong skills in data analysis and performance tracking, ensuring product decisions are backed by insights.
• Business perspective and entrepreneurial approach to strategy of product.
• Understanding of technical concepts and ability to work effectively with engineering teams.
• Strong ability to articulate ideas, influence stakeholders, and drive collaboration.
• A proactive and flexible approach to solving challenges in a dynamic industry.
